Two gatherings of physicians and allied health experts, specifically trained in primary care, asthma, and EMR technology, were held. A patient participant was also a part of one focus group. To determine the best integration methods for asthma eTools within electronic medical records, focus groups employed a semistructured discussion format. Discussions were undertaken on the internet, leveraging the Microsoft Teams platform (Microsoft Corp.). Through a first focus group, the integration of asthma indicators into electronic medical records (EMRs) was explored with electronic tools; participants subsequently completed a questionnaire to assess the clarity, relevance, and feasibility of collecting point-of-care asthma performance indicator data. The second focus group examined strategies for integrating asthma eTools into primary care, employing a questionnaire to evaluate the perceived efficacy of different eHealth tools. A thematic qualitative analysis process was used to examine and interpret the focus group discussions that were recorded. Data from the focus group questionnaires were examined with a descriptive quantitative analytical technique.
The qualitative analysis of the two focus groups yielded seven key themes: creating outcome-driven tools, establishing trust with stakeholders, promoting open communication, prioritizing the end-user, enhancing efficiency, ensuring adaptability, and developing within current workflows. The objective of this research is to explore variations in oocyte stimulation results among fertility preservation patients categorized by lymphoma stage. At Northwestern Memorial Hospital (NMH), a retrospective cohort study was performed. A retrospective study involving 89 lymphoma patients who contacted the NMH fertility program navigator between 2006 and 2017 analyzed their anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) levels and outcomes associated with ovarian stimulation treatments. Data analysis was performed using chi-squared tests and analysis of variance. In order to account for possible confounding variables, a regression analysis was also performed.
